What counts as a worker?
Anyone with a login, in the office or in the field, including you. Subbies who only sign a safety document from a link do not count, because they never get an account. We bill on the most people you had active in the month, changes take effect the next month, and there are no mid-month refunds.
What is the founding offer, exactly?
The first ten businesses pay $450 a month for up to ten workers, and keep that rate for as long as they stay subscribed, even after the standard price goes up. Beyond ten workers it is $50 each, the same as everyone. The rate is tied to the business and does not transfer if it is sold.
Do I lose features on the cheaper rate?
No. There is only one plan. Every feature is on every account from day one, whether you are a founding crew or came later. The price reflects team size and nothing else.
Is there a setup fee?
None. No onboarding fee, no implementation project, no training bill. You can be quoting on it the same day. If you would like us to import your clients, materials and Xero history so you start populated rather than empty, that is available and optional.
Is there a contract?
No lock-in. Cancel whenever you like and you will not be billed again. Your data stays yours and you can export the lot as readable files at any time.
Is the AI extra?
No. Managed AI is in the price and there is nothing to set up. If you would rather use your own key from OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini, you can connect it instead.
Do I need Xero?
BM Quotes is built to work hand in hand with Xero for quotes, invoices, bills and paid status. You connect your existing account in a couple of taps.
